Carter Contracting Co. is a black woman-owned construction company based in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Founded in 2021 amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Carter Crew was formed with the intention of helping local homeowners love where they live. We currently specialize in high-quality painting and drywall services, but as a licensed building team, we are dedicated to bringing exceptional craftsmanship to every project we undertake.

Our mission is to empower black and brown families with the knowledge and tools to maintain their homes while providing affordable, reliable home maintenance for those who prefer professional care.
